Christmas Vacation 2010 | California

We've been able to take a vacation for this Christmas season. So nice to be able to have two weeks off. In this short time frame we've been able to visit all three of our families because they live close in Southern California.

Our trip didn't start as planned. Jay had been feeling sick with a bad cough and when he woke up on Thursday morning (the morning we were going to leave) he knew his cough was getting worse. We took him to Urgent Care where we waited at least an hour to see a doctor that we really only saw for maybe 7 minutes, which was more than enough time to just tell us Jay has Bronchitis. Ha, gotta love it. It turned out to be a pretty good day. Jay took his medicine, which basically put him in a coma, and I got to finish up some other little errands/packing that we didn't have time to do.

We woke up Christmas Eve feeling refreshed and ready for our drive. We made awesome time, left Provo at 6 am and arrived in Irvine, California at 2pm.

Christmas morning we headed off to see Jay's Dad and Renee in Corona for an awesome breakfast and gift exchange. Around 2pm we arrived at my parent's house in Poway.

So sad saying bye to my family. My sister Jess and I always have so much fun together and dream of the day that we'll live close again. Until then, we enjoy every moment we do get to see each other. Miss you sis thanks for the great times!

We are currently back in Corona at Jay's Dad and Renee's. One week of vacation down, another whole week to go!
