This past week I had the opportunity to watch over an old family friend's 3 rambunctious boys.
The two older ones were off playing with friends most of the time so I got to hang out with Mr. Austin.
Oh I could write a book of all the random things this kid has said to me over the past 4 days. Here are my favorites...
A: Do you have a mom?
Me: Of course, everyone has a mom.
A: Are you a mom?
Me: Not yet.
A: Do you have to practice driving the car first?
Me: Yeah, and some other stuff.
*
A: Do you have a tramp? (Trampoline)
Me: Nope.
A: Is your man gonna build one for you?
Me: Probably not.
A: Well I think you already have a tramp.
*
A: Whats your dad's name?
A: Whats your dad's name?
Me: Marty.
A: Whats Marty?
Me: My dads name...
*
A yelling from afar: Rachelllll!!!
Me: Yes Austin!?
A: I'm done goin poop!
Me: Uhh.
A: Just wanted you to know!
*
A: UGH I just ripped my nail off! But it's ok because it's not blooding.
*
He couldn't seem to remember my name.
The first day day it was, girl. Second day, babysitter. Third and fourth days, Rachel, but mostly Rich (Rach?).

As most children, he is very curious and asks lots of questions!
After I would answer his questions there was always a following question, "Does your mom?" or "What about your mom?"
Every time he said it, I could hear Kip's voice from Napoleon Dynamite.

It was a fun week and I loved playing all kinds of fun little boy games with him like...
Drawing on the chalk board.
