Mouse Update

I feel a little like a mama that's blogging about her baby.
Mouse is no baby, but she is currently our baby, and I want to remember the experience of having our first pup.
People usually have some pretty negative things to say about puppies (and they have reason to) but we lucked out- Mouse is a gem.
So here are some things about our pup...

The biggest issue has been separation anxiety (from my end as well as Mouse's).
The first time I had to leave her for work, I about sobbed when I heard her little whine as I left.
I feel a lot more at ease as she has gotten more comfortable with us leaving.
Mouse NEVER barks. She will growl though, when she wants to play.
We usual wake up to her whine around 6:30 am. Jay gets up for work at 6:45, grabs Mouse from the kitchen and tosses her in our bed, where she then attacks my face and eventually falls back asleep with me.
Between this and future babies, I'm thinking I'll never have to set an alarm again. I would much rather wake up to a puppy than an alarm anyways :).
Mouse won't let us know when she has to go potty, but I can pretty much nail when its time to go outside.
Overall, the potty training is going really well.

We love our little Mouse. She really has become a part of the family.
