We were especially excited for Rich and Renee's visit because it had been nearly a year since the last time we saw them!
After their flight arrived they picked up Jay from work, then came to see our apartment.
For dinner we went to Germantown Commissary for an authentic Memphis BBQ experience.
It did not disappoint! I got the BBQ Potato and it was serioulsy the best BBQ-anything I've ever tasted.
And of course, the atmosphere was pretty legit as well.
We got the most sassy, southern waitress you could ask for. Rich is also a bit sassy. The two of them really hit it off.
