Memphis Tennessee Temple | Ward Temple Night

You'd think coming to Tennessee- a state with only 2 temples, we would most likely have to travel a ways to get there.

It turns out the Memphis Temple is just up the street, on the same property as our church building, literally two minutes away.

The temple doesn't stay busy compared to the Utah temples we're used to. You can't exactly waltz in at anytime and be able to do service.

And it is very small therefore, appointments need to be made ahead of time. It's incredibly beautiful though, as all temples are.
I love sitting in Relief Society on Sunday, looking out the window and seeing the temple RIGHT there. Such a treat.

The temple was closed for construction when we first arrived to Memphis. 

But finally, we got the chance to attend ward temple night on Thursday.

 We seriously just love our ward. Going to the temple with them was such a wonderful experience.
