Döner & Temple Square

Jay and I joined John, Erin, and baby Emili Goodman for a fun night in Salt Lake.
We hit a lot of traffic on the drive up. Normally it takes 40ish minutes, but it took 1 hour and 30 minutes just to get off the freeway.
Then from there, it was at least another 20 minutes before we found a parking spot and walked to Spitz to get some Döner Kebabs.

[Döner is a common food item in Turkey, the Balkans, Middle East, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
Seasoned meat in the shape of an inverted cone is turned slowly against a vertical rotisserie, then sliced vertically into thin, crisp shavings.
The meat is commonly served on a sandwich/wrap.]
Jay and John are very familiar with Döner, having served in the same mission- Berlin, Germany.

We sure love our sweet friends. Döner is delish! And it's always neat to hear mission stories from Jay and John.
After our fun dining experience, we walked to Temple Square.
