Last Day With Leland

Of all of the babysitting/nanny jobs I've had, babysitting Leland was my favorite.
It hardly felt like a job because of his loving and even-keeled personality. And his mommy and daddy were the sweetest, and so flexible with my schedule.

Leland is one year old. It's been fascinating to see him change so much in such a short period of time.
In October he was quiet, drank bottles, and could barely roll over.
By April he's saying "uh-oh" "hi" and "dada", eating food on his own, and just about to take his first step.
During my time with Leland I was reminded of how truly amazing and beautiful children are. It's helped me to be more realistic in my expectations of motherhood. It will be so difficult at times, but so rewarding.
What a wonderful time it has been with my sweet little friend. I will miss him dearly, but look forward to watching him grow as I keep in touch via Instagram and email.
