Even though the Provo River trail has always been just a couple blocks away from our home, we didn't walk it very often when first moving in. Throughout the seasons when the leaves would change I would occasionally drag Jay along the trail for a photoshoot. Once we got our pup, Mouse, strolls along the trail became a habit. During the nineteen months we had her we took countless strolls. After losing her it was depressing to walk the trail full of Mouse memories. But we kept walking and created new memories. Sometimes our walks consisted of deep conversations, sometimes silly conversations, and sometimes our walks consisted of simply walking hand in hand, enjoying the sound of the flowing river and the cool evening air. This is all so cheesy, I know. But truly, the memories of these strolls, with and without our pup, will always be dear to my heart.
Today we walked the Provo River Trail one last time. It was sad and I almost cried when finishing our loop. But we feel satisfied with the memories we've created here and can't wait to make new ones in Michigan.
After our stroll we had dinner with the Johnson's.
No words
could adequately express my love and appreciation for this girl and her
amazing family. Tiffany is one of my very best friends. We confide,
laugh, and cry with one another. Living 1,500 miles away verses
living just below her will be an adjustment. Thankfully, this sweet
cousin will always be a phone call or text away.
Addy and Hailey took a few photos of us. They were hilarious! Practically had us in tears! And that needy little pup Koda wouldn't get his bum out of the picture.
Oh we will miss every single one of them!
