First we stopped at Verhage Farms hoping to pick our own strawberries. Unfortunately that wasn't an option so we browsed the store and picked up some Michigan honey, then headed further west to Mandigo Farms in Paw Paw, Michigan.
This experience may have turned me into a bit of a strawberry snob. There is nothing like fresh picked strawberries! We enjoyed these gems in a homemade shortcake. It was a delicious weekend!
