Dad's visit had a rough start when his 10:30pm flight was delayed until 1:40am. But we were just thrilled to finally have him here safe and sound. And I'm not sure if he was more excited about seeing us or about finally fulfilling his need for cold weather and snow! It was a full week showing him around town, eating lots of ice cream, watching movies, visiting Lake Michigan, and completing some big projects for baby girl. [Coming soon in another post.]
I can't express enough love for this guy. He is selfless, humble, charitable, goofy, and really just the best father one could hope for.

Benton Harbor is incredible this time of year. And the lake... Though dark and eerie, there is also a sense of tranquility starring into it's depths while listening to the ice chunks lightly brush against the pier. No words or photos could do justice for it's wonderment.
