The winter months were pretty uneventful for us, mostly due to the freezing cold weather. But we enjoyed taking things slow; walking Kella when the temperatures weren't in the negatives, fulfilling our church callings, ordering in a pizza or picking up some other type of fast food and snuggling in front of the TV for date nights, and making some last minute preparations for baby girl.
Here are a few random moments I captured over the last three months:
The second the garage door goes up, Kella races to the kitchen and waits patiently for Jay to walk through the door.
.
Sister Chatman got transferred to Kalamazoo and we miss her terribly!
.
I trusted Jay with the task of trimming my hair and he did a fantastic work.
.
Kella and I spend lots of time in the snow.
.
Someone gifted us their snow blower and we are so grateful! There is no way we could have gotten through the winter without it.
.
Jay and I found a new favorite restaurant in Kalamazoo: Thai Cuisine. We went after our last prenatal visit, when we found out we would be going in for a scheduled C-section just two days later. This trip to Thai Cuisine was basically our last date before becoming parents.
