Jess, Kinz, & Callie Come to Michigan

Jess has her hands full at home with five kids, so I think she was pretty excited about a little getaway with just Makinzie and Callie. And I of course was absolutely stoked when she told me they were coming!

I gave the girls a good tour of our town. We went to the grocery store, Sam's Club several times for frozen yogurt and soft pretzels, Horrocks, Kellogg Forest, Crow's Nest, and Continental Bakery. We took walks out the back to the park, explored the west side of Michigan, stayed up way too late (2:00am most nights) watching way too much of The Office (at least two seasons worth), and ate way too much sugar. I was pretty exhausted the whole week but I didn't want to miss a second with these girls.

While we were out, several people asked if Callie and Evelyn were twins. Pretty hilarious because these girls look nothing alike.

Just a couple of K-9's.

The girls did great on our little road trip, thanks to Kinz for keeping them entertained.
