The Savior and His precious Gospel is the source of every good thing in my life (especially these two).
I know that my redeemer lives. Sweet the joy this sentence gives.
Jay will often approach me while I'm holding Evelyn, squeeze us and
proclaim, "Gorgeous number one and gorgeous number two." Or sometimes
just, "My gorgeouses!" He is the sweetest and the dorkiest guy around.
My vintage-loving nostalgic sappy self was just delighted to see Evelyn fitting into my great-grandmother's dress.
I don't know how many years we'll be able to get away with filling her eggs with Cheerios, but it was certainly a big hit this year.
Kari and Mike drove up from Irvine to spend Easter weekend with us. At church we ran into a few familiar faces- Davis (Kari's sister-in-law), her parents, Sage, and Kai.
On Wednesday a few mom's and their kids in the ward all met up at the park for a potluck lunch and Easter egg hunt. Evelyn's first egg hunt- or more accurately: Crawling on the grass and stealing eggs from the other babies. It was such a lovely time! It brings me so much joy to see Evelyn interacting with babies her age.
