This cutie birthday boy...
Just turned 28.
Much like last year, I enjoyed making treats for my love.
Sunday we celebrated with Pork Chops, root beer (his favorite) and Banana Cream Pie (his favorite).
Then watched Wild Target.
Then watched Wild Target.
Yesterday on Jay's actual birthday, I sent him off with a delicious breakfast and lunch for work.
Later that night we got In-N-Out (his favorite) and brought home to eat while we watched an awesome, fascinating and inspiring documentary about The Lost Boys of Sudan God Grew Tired of Us.
Then of course, presents!
Around Christmas time when we got all of Jay's mission pictures from both of his parents, I scanned them all to the computer and made a book.
It took me months to finish this project but it was so worth it.
Jay is so hard to surprise but I don't think he saw this one coming!
I loved when my Dad would show slides and tell us kids stories from his mission.
As I was making this book I envisioned Jay pulling it out with our kids and sharing fun stories about his time in Germany.
I love this cute missionary.
Thank you to those in his office that made him feel loved with balloons on his Birthday.

awe.. so precious!!! I've been dying to hear how he liked his book??!!! We have a little something for him too.. we are the worst at getting gifts to people on time. I need to work on that. :-)
