Two Weeks as a Nanny

This is Kiera. 

She is 3, loves "po polish" (nail polish), princesses, clothes, accessories, and most of all... "Wip goss".

Its not too likely you'll see her without her lip gloss. 
The other day after waking from her nap she ran to me with a very frightened look on her face... "I had a nightmare! SOMEBODY stole my wip goss!"

This is James. 
He is 6, loves anything that has to do with sword fighting, star wars, karate and wizards. 
This kid is as goofy as can be with such a tender heart. 
Today in the car he said, "Thank you so super oober oober oooooober much for all of the fun things you do with us!"

 There were moments where my insides felt like they were boiling because of these boogers, but it was a week I will remember. 
We took many trips to the park which I can't complain about. 
The kids would play and I got to sit under trees and enjoy the beautiful weather.

I have an awesome tan line now too.

The favorite activity was playing at the Splash Pad in the Riverwoods wall.

Coming from a family of 8 children and 3 little nieces has always given me a lot of confidence when it comes to the topic of babies and motherhood. 

Having lived away from all that for almost 3 years now, I think I forgot a little bit what its like and maybe lost some of that confidence. 

This job was a good a reminder of children and motherhood...

Its going to be so hard.

But I can hardly even wait.

Thanks little boogers for letting me be your nanny for two weeks.
