Holiday Fun at the Riverwoods

It dawned upon me just a week ago that we only had a week til Christmas. 
Also meaning, only a week until we leave for California, meaning lots of shopping and packing needed to be done!

But before we left to do fun festivities with our family, I wanted to be sure we did at least one of our own.

We went over the the River woods shopping center, a hoppin' place in town during the holidays. There were lights, decorations, carriage rides, and kettle corn.

We didn't end up staying very long because it was fareeeeezing! Not even our Carmel Apple Cider kept us warm enough

It was definitely worth the trip though. 
I am very hopeful that next year will be filled with a few more Christmas festivities with just the two of us.

Now to sunny California we go!
