On Friday I came home to an Easter surprise from my love.
Gorgeous flowers, chocolate, and hidden eggs around the apartment that were filled with jelly beans AND love notes.
I think I'll keep him.
Jay was in charge of meat for our Easter Meal and he decided on ribs.
Might I just add, he is looking oh, so fine in that apron.
The man loves his ribs.
After dinner we watched Easter Dream, an Easter tradition growing up.
Then, instead of coloring eggs, we I decorated cookies. Recipe here.
Jay frosted his cookie, threw it in his mouth and said "All done!"
We are always sad when we can't spend important holidays with our families.
But I'm so grateful Jay and I have each other to rely on. I cannot express enough my love for this man.
I'm so beyond grateful that we all have the Savior to rely on.
And I'm so grateful that we have a holiday to celebrate such a wonderful thing.
Our perfect day ended with a perfect stroll on the trail with our pup.
