We are on vacation in Southern CA for the next month. Yes, a month vacation.
We are so spoiled BUT we have not had a vacation since Christmas, and when Jay starts MBA school in August our lives are going to be hectic.
We felt it was very important that we take advantage of this time to see our families and most importantly, relax.

Our first destination was Irvine.
We spent our first day at the pool and as we were basking in the glorious California sunshine I said to Jay, "How about we just come here every single day?" And Jay says, "OK."
So thats pretty much all we did.

We also went to the greatly missed Panera,
Olive Garden with the grandparents;
saw The Amazing Spiderman movie and the Katy Perry movie;
ate lunch and went swimming with the Patchell's;
and ate at an authentic Chinese restaurant that the family has been going to for years.

It was a blast having the beautiful Jerris hang out with us this week! She was my little Barbie doll- I cut her hair and styled it for her several times.

In the middle of the week the weather got cloudy and SO humid.
Because of the weather and pretty bad sunburns for both of us, we took a break from swimming for a couple of days.

On Friday we went and did sealings at the Newport Temple.
Mike and Kari taught us a couple of card games: 'Obnixious' and '31'. It was a blast!
One night we were up til almost 2 playing Obnoxious and eating way too much candy.

I gave grandma Bonnie a haircut.
Can you believe this woman is in her 70's? She has been through quite a bit in her lifetime but nothing keeps her down.
She is always smiling and has so much energy!

On Saturday morning, we went to Kari's new office where she introduced us to her co-workers and taught us about their business.
Afterwards, we met up with the grandparents for lunch at Knollwoods.
Thank you once again Goodman family for the good times!
So far this vacation has been nothing short of perfect and I'm so excited that we still have THREE weeks left woohoo!
