It just so happened that dad came up to Utah for work the week of my birthday!
And not only that, but he brought my little sissy as well.
On my birthday, I took the day off to go shopping with Steph, then to my absolute favorite sandwich place, Which Wich.
After all the wonderful, guiltless birthday shopping, I came home to an entry way decked out with... Birds?
I walked down to our apartment and my awesome cousin and her 2 cuties jumped out and yelled "SURPRISE!" I laughed, thanked them, then asked about the birds.
Apparently it was the only decorations they had. It made for a hilarious surprise!

My sweetheart couldn't take the day off, which of course made me sad but I completely understood.
He made up for it with an absolutely gorgeous bouquet of flowers.
The day ended perfectly with one of my favorite dinners, The Spaghetti Factory.

I hear ya about the time thing with the MBA program. It really does come down to time management.
ps- I love wich wich too. Have you tried that new place off Center called Guru's? Its really yummy as well/ Hope you can make it tonight
