Tennessee Sunsets

In just a few days we will make the three day trek to Provo.
I can't even believe how fast this internship went. And at the same time, it feels like we've been here forever.

Last night we talked about our mixed feelings of going back to Provo...
On the one hand, there are things we miss and it will be nice to be back in our home with our things.
On the other hand, this feels like home. I'm afraid of the homesickness I may feel when we leave.

We have faced a couple of really hard things this summer, Mouse being one of them.
And yet we have had some of the absolute best times of our lives.

My testimony has grown, I've learned to trust more in Heavenly Father's plan for me.
I've learned to count my blessings and appreciate my life just the way it is.
My appreciation for my sweet, hard working husband has grown as I watch him go to work while I stay home.

I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for this Memphis experience.
The things I will miss the most [besides the obvious- going to the pool every day] is
the food, our ward, the bright green trees lining the roads, the thunderstorms, and the sunsets from our balcony.
What I wont miss? Pesky, nasty, BIG bugs.
Usually Jay gets all the bug bites, but they seem to have taken a liking to me this summer.
The other night I was up every hour scratching, applying hydrocortisone, then icing my NINE bites.

Beautiful photographs! Tennessee is on my list of places to visit, my Grandfather's family is from Nashville. I noticed my blog was linked from your URL, I'm so honored to be on your list! Thank you :)
