The first day of autumn was a perfect day for a Sunday drive up the canyon.
Some of the mountains are still lush and green, but some are slowly turning red and yellow.
Then with the dark clouds from all the thunderstorms lately, it made for an incredible sunset.
We weren't exactly prepared for the crazy chilly wind that was blowing up at Squaw Peak.
I endured it just to get some good pictures. Although, my hands were completely numb when I got back in the car.
Then there's Jay... He wasn't willing to brave the cold with me for very long. So he sat in the car and ate Rolos.
