[Thanksgiving morning view from our room at the Hampton Inn.]
The last couple of Thanksgiving's were spent without our family.
We were excited to get to spend it with the Jensen clan this year at Grandma Virginia Jensen's house in St. George, Utah.
Jay and I stayed at the Hampton Inn along with Rich, Renee, and Marin.
The weekend was spent visiting with family, eating, card games, evening strolls in Grandma's neighborhood, and a temple trip.

St. George Temple.
Renee & Rich
That night on the way back to our hotel, we drove by the temple to see the Christmas lights.
Marin needed a little touch-up on her haircut and color.
Doing it in the hotel bathroom made for quite the experience...
We may have ruined one of the hotel's towels, and we used the blow-dryer and our hands to clean the hair off the floor.
We also had Parks and Recreation [our favorite] playing.
I love spending time with my beautiful sister.
Despite her health troubles and missing her sweetheart every single day, Grandma Jensen is happy and full of so much love for her family.
Jay and I joined Rich, Renee, and Marin for breakfast at Cracker Barrel on Saturday and said our goodbye's.
After each visit, I feel more and more grattitude to have married into this family.
The acceptance and the love I feel from everyone is overwhelming.
