Kenzie threw a surprise birthday party for Adam.
The guests were instructed to dress up as "what you wanted to be when you grew up".
So what did I want to be when I "grew up"? A mom... But how do you dress up like a mom?
I asked my mom for ideas. She reminded me of how much I loved princesses.
Apparently I would dress up like a princess and say things like, "someday I'm going to marry my prince, and THEN we're going to dance!!"
I mean, that's what they did at the end of all the Disney princess movies.
A huge thank you to Tiff for loaning me the perfect dress. With some jewelry and a homemade crown, I was good to go.
It was sad to take everything off at the end of the night. I forgot how fun it is to pretend to be a princess!
What did Jay want to be when he "grew up"? He couldn't remember. Haha, so he asked his mom.
And what did she say?
Michael Jackson.
In preschool Jay participated in a talent show where he dressed up like M.J. and showed off some his moves.
I'd say he's still got it.
[He also has the voice down pretty good.]
We serioulsy had the best time running around town, putting together Jay's costume.
Suit and sunglasses- DI. Hat- Target. Glove and wig [strands from a wig]- Partyland.
After a few touches of glitter, he was good to go.
The party was a blast!
We ate food and played an extreme version of Never Have I Ever.
Jay had everyone laughing all night long. And I got many complments on my dress [thanks again, Tiff!].
