This house will always be a very special place to me.
It is the house my sister Jess and her husband Matt lived in when they moved to Utah in 2003. Jess and I have always been very close and made some pretty unforgettable memories during my many visits from San Diego, California.
When Jess and Matt moved back to California in 2005, my cousin Tiffany and her husband Nate bought this house.
At one point, my brother Josh lived in the basement for a few months.
In January 2009 I moved to Utah by myself. Tiffany showed so much love and support by having me over for dinner, letting me use her washer and dyer, and letting me share all of my drama of roommates and dating.
Jay and I were planning to get married in April 2010. Just before then, Tiff and Nate remodeled the basement-apartment and their renters were moving out. So in January 2010 I moved into the basement, then Jay joined me in April after our wedding.
We couldn't have asked for a better first home.

This door leads to the garage, and then into the basement of the house.
We come in on the right door. The door on the left goes to the house.
