Soon after returning home from San Diego it hit me that Christmas was only 12 days away. We hadn't done any shopping or decorating, and I hadn't even started brainstorming ideas for
our Christmas cards. Then I realized that if I wanted our family's Christmas gifts to get to them by Christmas I needed to get started like, yesterday.
So I spent the next week in maniac productive mode making gifts, baking treats, and designing and mailing out our cards. On top of all that, we had other plans/obligations throughout the week including: dinner with Darin, dinner with the missionaries, mutual, breastfeeding class at the hospital, and labor/parenting classes in Kalamazoo. Besides all house work and the dog getting totally neglected, it was a successful week. We accomplished everything on our list and our gifts got to the family on time.
Jay came home for lunch so we could go pick out a Christmas tree.
