Thirty-Two

We started the day off right with a solid breakfast at the Lux cafe, followed by a walk through the neighborhood. Evelyn and I surprised Jay with homemade cards, a new pair of sunglasses, and a homemade German chocolate cake. For dinner Jay requested Domino's pizza but ordered their deep dish pizza by mistake. It was disgusting! Haha. I felt so bad and suggested we either order another pizza or go get something else. But he was content with the gross deep dish pizza, probably because he was just saving up for dessert. We scarfed the German chocolate while watching Jay's movie of choice: Big Hero 6

When it comes to birthdays and I ask Jay how he would like to spend it, the response is always something along the lines of: "I just want to spend time with you on my birthday, I'll be happy as long as I'm with you." Jay is the sweetest, most selfless, humble, patient, funniest, and loving person I've ever known. I'm so grateful he was born 32 years ago. I truly couldn't imagine my life without him.
