Evelyn was awake and ready to go by 6:00am. Much too early for me. But Jay, who had already been awake for about an hour, kindly took over so I could sleep in. I got out of bed shortly after and went into the living room to find Jay and Evelyn looking out the window at the freshly fallen snow. Jay said when he first pointed out the snow to Evelyn she literally gasped at the sight of it.
We enjoyed some apple-cinnamon pancakes, then later that day went and explored the winter wonderland.
