Post-nap sweetness.
This new crooked smile of hers is just so endearing.
Binky addict.
Not only is she attached to Binky-Bear, but she's also growing fond of her other stuffed friends. Snuggling, smooching, and toting them around the house... It's quite possibly the cutest thing ever.
Not super into the coloring part just yet, but meticulously loading and unloading the crayons in the box will keep those little hands busy for a good twenty minutes.
I had the darnedest time finding fashionable, comfortable, affordable shoes for our new little walker. Finally succumbed to my last resort: Walmart. And it was a booming success! AND Jay came along. He must love his girls.
I've made it a habit of taking solo trips to the pool while Evelyn is napping and Jay is working from home. Heavenly.
A little visit from gramma Kari. Evelyn has seen all three sets of grandparents more in the last four months than she ever did in the entire first year of her life. I'm not sure how we got by living far away from family for so long but we're sure making up for it.
I gave her a few prints to play with and this one seems to be her favorite. She points to it and says, "dada".
The splash pad is a whole new kind of fun now that she can walk.
We spend half the time at the pool swimming, and the other half playing in the shower.
This desert heat has been a little rough on Kella. We try to get her outside to play fetch in the mornings before it gets too hot. Unfortunately it never really cools down at night and is in the 80's as early as 5:30am. Which means Kella has been pretty confined to the indoors without walks or good playtime. Some days she drives me absolutely batty with all that pent up energy, but I feel for this pup and look forward to cooler weather.
