Labor Day weekend also happened to be the weekend of Renee's birthday. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to go home and celebrate with her. It was a little bit of a tease being in Corona, so close to my family in San Diego but just far enough away. I took comfort in knowing I'd be seeing them within the next month.
Our weekend was oh so relaxing, so relaxing that we extended our stay which meant blowing off our prenatal doctor's appointment and anatomy scan for baby boy. (We were able to reschedule no problem.) Besides Renee's birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa Long's, and attending the Fiesta Hermosa on Monday morning, we ate good food, watched movies, and spent a majority of the time outside chasing after Evelyn and Kella.
