Have I mentioned this girl's love for books? It's an ever-growing passion. She enjoys being read to, but more so lately is content sitting in her room either in the rocking chair or on the floor flipping through stacks of books while babbling what is guaranteed the cutest gibberish ever jabbered. And then once she comes across something exciting such as a familiar shape or animal, she bolts over to show me. I've thoroughly enjoyed every stage with her, and this one is particularly delightful.
Sunday stroll over at the dog park.
While Evelyn can be as sweet as sugar, she has a salty side and is entering a new stage of an occasional tantrum.
The library. Her happy place.
Snuggles and a show before bedtime.
We made many trips to Walmart this month. Half of the time we went just to raid the toy isle.
Just making herself at home, poppin' a squat reading books in the middle of the store.
Patient little love tagging along on mom's prenatal appointment.
First purchase for baby boy. 75 cent sandals from Old Navy.
We had some rough days (and nights) this month with Evelyn. Teething and/or illness related? Whatever the cause, the idea of adding on a second little one was beginning to sound somewhat terrifying. And then after a tender 4:50am family spooning session I'm thinking maybe, just maybe everything's gonna be ok.
