Thanksgiving 2016

Our first couple of Thanksgivings together were spent with Jay's grandparents in St. George, Utah. Once his grandparents passed away and since we were still living far away from the rest of our family, we've been on our own. We've had some great Thanksgivings surrounded by friends, and a couple of low key ones just the two of us. But currently living four hours from family, to not go home and spend the holiday with them would just be inexcusable.

We spent two days with my family in San Diego, and the last day with Rich and Renee in Corona. I can't even recall the last time I enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal in my parent's home, it had been about four years since I had seen my dad's parents- Gramps and Nana, and I'll never pass up an opportunity to be with my uncle Chuck and aunt Carol. Needless to say it was a pretty special weekend.

Dessert. Nothing unusual in the Bramwell home.

During our quick stay with Rich and Renee in Corona we went to Romp-o-Rama where Evelyn basically had the time of her life. When we go to any park at home she's always drawn to the slides but it still pretty nervous about going down by herself. I couldn't even count the number of times she went down the giant slides at Romp-o-Rama, but it was enough that Jay and I had to frequently switch off going down with her.
