Chelsea is truly one of the most selfless and kind people I've ever met and I'm so grateful to be able to call her one of my closest friends. She generously threw me a shower on behalf of baby boy and it was perfect- a relaxing low-key evening eating dessert, visiting with friends, and opening gifts.
The shower was just four days before Christmas and I assured my family they should feel absolutely no obligation to attend. But because they're so wonderful, mom and Steph made the four and half hour drive to Vegas to attend the shower then turned right back around and drove home the next morning. Jess planned to come along with her five kids until a few of them got ill and she decided it'd be best to not bring any illness up our way. I know it killed her to miss out and she was most definitely missed, but she along with Jay's family showed their support from afar. I'm pretty overwhelmed with gratitude to have such a loving and solid support system.
