The moment we I have been dreading... Shaving the beard!
BYU does not allow beards. They do however allow mustaches.
We tried it out for a very short time of 2 minutes but I'm sorry, that wasn't happening.

So unfortunately for the next 2 years, we will have to settle for a naked face.
Jay came into my work for the big dramatic moment.
August 14th was Jay's first day of orientation for the MBA program. Orientation was busy and informative and he loved it!
And he looks pretty handsome.
2 weeks later and 1 week into classes, they are still keeping him busy and he is still loving it!
I am just so proud of him and I love learning more about this program as he comes home and keeps me informed with everything that's going on.
For the OB/HR: Organizational Behavior/Human Resources track, they get the students going right away on scoping out potential internships for summer 2013.
The company you internship for is the one you usually end up working for.
So its kind of a big deal.

After the first week of orientation Jay went on a river rafting trip in Idaho along with 70 other people which included students and recruiters from big companies.
The companies there were Microsoft, Cisco, Honeywell, General Mills, HP, Dell, Digital Globe, Adobe, Kellogg's, GE Health Care, PWC, Proctor & Gamble and Chevron- just to name a few :).
He had a total blast on the trip! Wish he had pictures to share.

Basically from now until November, Jay will be spending a good amount of his time researching companies, traveling to their headquarters, then hopefully getting interviews.
Class of 2014
Where's Waldo Jay?

That is awesome. That's great that he gets to do an internship and get so many connections. Experience really is key in getting a job in this economy! Glad he is loving it!
That is the craziest picture! I love it.
