Miragie

Jay no longer works due to school. So that leaves me to the duty of bringing home the bacon. 
Because of that, we are trying to save money in every way possible. 
One way to save money that we felt very strongly about was selling my car.

Just a year ago we made plans to set aside money for a new car, but once Jay got into school, the idea of selling Miragie and down-sizing to one car was simply the better choice.

Now I've mentioned Miragie before. 
She's been through some tough times and given me a few headaches since her accident (nearly 2 years ago). 
She had some external issues such as: no front bumper, smashed trunk, broken hood latch, and broken left brake light. 

My dear friend Monica was very interested in buying Miragie. 
So after some research, body shop estimates, and time, she was fixed. 
She wasn't in perfect condition, but just enough to pass safety and emissions. 
She passed and was all ready to be sold!

August 28th was my last day with her. It was very bittersweet. 
Bitter, because she was my first car that I loved despite all of her deformations. 
Sweet, because this meant life was moving forward and Jay and I would be saving money. 
Also, I am very thrilled for Monica- she hasn't had her own car in 6 years! 
ALSO as I said Monica and I are dear friends, so its not like I won't ever be seeing Miragie around!
