Third Wedding Anniversary Celebration & Temples

Because we had such a good time celebrating our anniversary at the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake
Last year , it wasn't too hard to decide what to do this year
But instead of going to Salt Lake, we went to Logan. It was absolutely worth the extra hour drive.

We checked in, placed our order for breakfast that would be delivered to us in the morning, picked out a movie from their collection,
then grabbed a couple of fresh complementary chocolate chip cookies and headed to our room.

Our room was huge!
We had two little living rooms, a fountain/pond, huge bath, huge shower with water coming out from the top and sides,
a bed, and a TV in the bedroom as well as above the bath.
Once again, we were pleased to find Sparkling Cider in our room AND cheescake in our fridge.
They also had a book for guests to write in and tell about their stay.
After getting settled, we went to Jack's Wood-Fired Oven.
Both the food, and the atmosphere was awesome.
[Our scrumptious breakfast.]

Since accomplishing our goal to go inside all the the temples between Provo and Salt Lake two years ago,
we've had hopes of attending even more Utah temples.
Since we were all the way up in Logan, we figured we had no excuse not to at least stop by.
So after checking out of Anniversary Inn, we slowly made our way back to Provo.
Logan Temple
 Brigham City Temple
Sadly, the Ogden Temple was under constriction.
So we killed some time exploring the city before our lunch date.
Farr's ice cream is only the best ice cream ever.
My dad was born in Ogden, and has always had a special place in his heart for Farr's ice cream.
Needless to say when I told him that it was my favorite brand of ice cream, he was pretty proud.
The factory has been around since 1920.
Andrew and his girlfriend Carly, met us for lunch at Rooster's.
It was so good to see our dear friend whom we hadn't seen in almost a year, and to meet his beautiful lady friend!
Before heading home, we stopped at one more temple.
Bountiful Temple
Even though May has been busy with entertaining family and getting ready for Tennessee, I'm so glad
we were able to set aside a couple of days to escape from Provo and celebrate our marriage.
It was such a relaxing and wonderful time with my love.
