Jay and I spent our morning downtown at the Civil Rights
Museum.
[This part of town was totally neglected. Every wall, building, and road had so much character.]
[A break down of the events on April 4, 1968- the day Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.]
[View of the Lorianne Hotel from the museum.]
Lorriaine Hotel
Afterwards we met some of the Kellogg’s employees for lunch
at Pei Wei.
We bade farewell to the city, then headed home to
Bartlett to clean and pack.
Going to miss these trees terribly.
A roaring thunderstorm and another amazing
sunset from the balcony-
what better way to end our stay in Memphis?
