Recently I chopped my hair. Some would say it was no big deal. But for me, it was totally a big deal.
I mean I was sweating and having strange dreams for days as I toyed with the decision to chop or not.
But I was surprised by the relief that came after I heard the sound of the first big *snip*.
As I proceeded to blog about this big event, I reminisced about the things I've done with my hair.
Then I realized that it really is just hair!
I've had bad haircuts and colors and at the time, my life seemed to be ruined because of it.
But as I looked through some older pictures I realized it really wasn't a big deal.
Those bad cuts always grew out and that color got fixed and I lived through it!
It's all so dramatic, yes. But I think most girls would agree that hair is a rather emotional thing.
For fun as well as my own personal reference, I created a timeline of my hair throughout the years.
A few days after the big cut I was feeling adventurous and went a bit shorter.
While my hair isn't insanely short, it's the shortest it's ever been and has taken some getting used to.
I absolutely love it and have no regrets for cutting it!
I absolutely love it and have no regrets for cutting it!
Jay doesn't seem to have a preference with my hair, which used to bother me. His opinion matters most and I want to look good for my honey!
But at least this way I am free to experiment however I please and I know he will still love me.
It's truly amazing what a change in hairdo can do for you.
For those that are contemplating a hair change- let this be an inspiration to you!
Go for it! It's invigorating! And if you hate it remember, its JUST hair.
