A couple months ago Jay's Mom who lives in Irvine, CA offered her couch and old school 50 incher TV to us.
Of course we accepted. So very luckily it worked out that they had an old friend that would be heading up this way with a large horse trailer that fit the couch and TV!

We prepared our little living room for the new set up by selling our old TV and entertainment center.
I was sad to see the entertainment center go because it was given to us and assembled by Jay's Dad, but we were glad to find a good home for them.
(Thanks again Melissa and Herschel!)
We attempted to sell our couch, but ended up giving it over to DI.
It was a couch I got for free before we were married, so I wasn't too bummed that we weren't able to get any money out of it.
Mom and Mike informed us that the TV weighed about 300 pounds. So before its arrival we attempted to gather as many strong men as we could to help bring everything down to the basement.
Long story short... the TV could not even fit through our doorway.
After almost a whole day of attempting to get that beats down to the basement, we gave up and gave it to Jay's boss.

So what then you ask? We are left without a TV... So tragic, I know.
This all happened about the same time that I was looking for a new job.
Jay and I made a deal, once I got a new job then we would go out and buy ourselves a new TV.
About a month later, I came home after getting a call about one of the jobs I had interviewed for.
I asked Jay, "You feel like going out any buying a TV tonight?" Jay responds, "Whhhy?"
And I jump for joy and say, "I got the Nanny job!"
That night we went to Best Buy and brought home the 50 inch plasma that we had been eying.

I LOVE redecorating and saw the new furniture as an excuse to once again, redecorate!
I made a new picture college...
New refrigorater magnets and cork board.
Flower pot and $.50 lantern.
We love our home. Thank you family for your hand-me-downs!
And thank you Tiffany for your hard labor on that entertainment center...
